i need help launching the game

everytime i launch the game it shows it on my computer, but not on the vr headset. Some one help please.

What HMD do you have? If it's an Oculus HMD do you have SteamVR installed? If it's a WMR HMD do you have SteamVR AND the WMR for Steam tool installed?

i do have steamvr installed,and i have a oculus rift s.

You have to run SteamVR first and enter into the steam home (think oculus home, but SteamVR's version), and then from steam VR home launch H3VR (yes you can do it outside but this method is a bit more foolproof)

I'm not sure if this was done before or not, but the Oculus app needs to be open for the headset to turn on I believe. Might need to wait until it brings you to the oculus home before you can do anything, though I can't confirm that.

Yeah Oculus Rift doesnt like when Oculus software isnt front and center. Classic Facebook. Glad i got mine before they required facebook to log in.

Yeah all these points are very true, but for me, the oculus storefront launches automatically once my Rift S is connected so that shouldn't be a problem? However yes, the general process is this

1. Plug in HMD, turn on controllers etc
2. Open oculus storefront
3. Open steamVR
4. Launch H3VR within steamVR

Try waiting until your VR headset lands you in the Oculus home, then try it if you haven't already. That may or may not help.
