It's more of a toybox, and they just keep throwing new things into it.
From my perspective, it feels like something in a state of perpetual development rather than "building to a defined final product".
It's also already worth more than the purchase price.
"It never goes on sale? No, it's always on sale."
game get new stuff added pretty much every weeks... why would we even care if he goes out of alpha one day XD
that's what Anton have said
i know many devs who would sell such game for 40 bucks at least.
I don't remember what I paid, I just know I got my money's worth. To the point I ended up buying a copy as a gift for someone who was in to guns and just got a VR setup, but they never really got into it. Oh well their loss.
But yea def worth the asking price for the amount of time it's been supported. At some point I'm sure Anton will eventually button it up and call it a day, to move on to a different project or something else. Games don't get support in perpetuity and this one is already running longer than most anyone would expect.
Though I am curious as to what even this game would look like when 'finished'
Well worth the money.
for the rest, i guess once it will be fisnihed, the modding community will dismantle it and find a way to add maps, guns, custom enemies models and so on... i mean, i m sure some people find a way to do that one day. And maybe even implant multiplayers by themself with custom servers or whatever.
i mean, a game is a game heh. an i know some people who can modify unity games and such. like the line say "when you want, you can"
not that i will complain, it may help the game to live even longuer after the devs kind of drop it for another project.
There is already custom maps (Take and hold), custom guns and attachments (very detailed, especially the modular ones) and other goodies like custom TnH characters
Mods are a thing and you shoold look at the H3VR section on thunderstore
