Howdy Folks,

Given the Quest 2 just released it seemed prudent to make a pinned post for a bit to answer common questions. So here ya go:

Can I play H3VR on a Quest 2?

- Yes, but you still require a PC to do so that meets the minimum specs for a VR machine.

What do I need? [/b]

- Look under Minimum Requirements on this Page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/450540/Hot_Dogs_Horseshoes__Hand_Grenades/

- Also, you will need to MAKE SURE TO INSTALL STEAMVR!!! The game will not run without it.

- You will also need a cable that Oculus Link can run well over. More details can be found on Oculus's official pages for that feature: https://support.oculus.com/444256562873335/?locale=en_US

I hear you can stream it without a cable, what's that about?

Lastly, please note that as we are not Quest 2 users, we cannot answer specific questions you have about it, and you should seek said information in the r/oculus subreddit, or in the relevant discords.

Will H3VR every be coming to Quest 2 as a NATIVE application?

- No, it will never be coming to it, or any other Facebook exclusive platform/device.

I am having issues. Where do I get help?

- Please make a thread in the BUG REPORTS section of this forum. When doing so describe your problem in as much detail as possible. Include your full system spec (all hardware in your computer), where you are playing over Link, VR Desktop, ALVR. If the later, two, please also include what router you're using, and how far away you are from that router (this is a common cause of issues). DO NOT POST PROBLEMS ON THIS THREAD. THIS IS NOT A SUPPORT THREAD.

could i run h3vr at a somewhat stable 60fps using a quest 2 virtual pc connector with these specs: quadro p2000 (i also have an intel uhd 630 for some reason) core i5 16gb ram and 500gb ssd (i can get it up to 600-700 gigs if i clear out my steam library)

The game itself is 10GB, and you want a stable 90fps, ideally. Anything less and the game can present bugs.

@Hottopic: That GPU is below the minimum required spec of this game (and all PCVR) so I cannot guarantee the game will run smoothly, or at all.

Its quite easy to if you are on Quest 2, I dont know about OG quest, The controllers are weird though, I like the ergonomics though.

Latest update completely removes my controllers and the ability to use them. the only controller there is is just a vive model that I cant move or anything. I have the quest 2 and my friend with an index has no problems with this. please help I tried every thing I could

I dont have any mods. I think it was something in the update because it was working fine before the update

If you are only foregoing quest 2 because you have some hard on against Facebook, then you better not have a Facebook account, Instagram account or one for the developers/game company then? Or does that make you guys hypocrites? lmaooo just port it and let your customers decide. Why alienate people who don't care?

since you want to be political. I and many other customers can be too, we wont buy from political activist companies. oh well.

When i run H3VR, i don't see anything happening on my headset i only see the program starting up and i cant control anything. this started like a week back, and i haven't been able to run the game since.

so every since the new update, the teleport controls have changed. i used to be able to move the joystick and teleport and on the left joystick i could move it left and right to tune right but now its the a button and the y button and teleporting is using the x button and i cant change the controls back so DEVELOPERS PLEASE CHANGE THE CONTROLS BACK
