Receiver has realistic gun operation (using different keys to operate the safety, pull back the hammer, cocking the barrel, manually reloading magazines, etc) but only a couple of handguns. It's the closest thing I've seen to how H3VR operates though

Can definitely recommend receiver. There is no story, and the Dev team only made it in 7 days, with no updates since initial release, but if you can get it on sale, it will be the closest thing to H3VR you can get.

Also, stay away from D.U.S.T. the game is practically dead, with no single player options, and no servers ever being populated. It had so much potential, but sadly, not enough publicity.
