Click down the thumbstick/trackpad without anything in your hand to make a red/blue beam appear. It's a cursor of sorts for your hand. Point the beam at an object (the beam will turn blue) and pick it up as normal to grab it from a distance.
Yeah but I dont want to do that magnet thing. It just dont feel right to me lol. I just need to know how to do this floor adjustment. I have a Rift + SteamVR. If anyone can help me figure that out. It would be much appreciated.
If you need to tweak it past that, the only way to manually adjust the floor height is to download a utility called OpenVRAdvancedSettings, which has a floor-height override.
That is what I did.
I use "OpenVR Advanced Settings" to adjust the floor if necessary.
That app is a bit dated, but still works. You can adjust the floor very precisely and even adjust other stuff.
