Help with Floor Height?
Hasnt been an issue in the past but I'm not normally picking up tiny bullets off the ground in games. Can someone help me remember how to change the foor height? The ingame floor, is lower then my real one. Which makes it impossible to pick up rounds off the floor.

You'd have to dig through settings or use a third party tool. Thankfully, H3VR already lets you get around this.

Click down the thumbstick/trackpad without anything in your hand to make a red/blue beam appear. It's a cursor of sorts for your hand. Point the beam at an object (the beam will turn blue) and pick it up as normal to grab it from a distance.

Yeah but I dont want to do that magnet thing. It just dont feel right to me lol. I just need to know how to do this floor adjustment. I have a Rift + SteamVR. If anyone can help me figure that out. It would be much appreciated.

If your floor height is wrong, you might need to go through the SteamVR room setup process again. When it gets to the part where you place the controllers on the floor, placing them upside down, so the joystick is touching the floor, will get that part of the sensor closer to actual height.

If you need to tweak it past that, the only way to manually adjust the floor height is to download a utility called OpenVRAdvancedSettings, which has a floor-height override.

Do SteamVR room setup and place a thick book on the floor. Place the controlers on top of it during setup.
That is what I did.

Haha. Nice "hack".
I use "OpenVR Advanced Settings" to adjust the floor if necessary.
That app is a bit dated, but still works. You can adjust the floor very precisely and even adjust other stuff.
