2. When you are playing VR:
- set your screen's refresh back to 60hz
- ensure GSync/FreeSync are turned COMPLETELY off. They interfere with HMDs.
3. If SteamVR is saying your GPU driver version is unknown though, something is seriously wrong with either your setup, or that actual HMD. The fact that your friend's WMR worked fine on your computer, and the Rift didn't, means that either:
- something is wrong with the Rift
- something is terminally messed up with your drivers, and you might just need to reinstall windows
- there is something about the Blade's gpu-to-motherboard connection that can't deal with the Rift.
You should try seeking tech support from Facebook, or try installing/running your Rift on a friend's computer to see if the issue is your machine, the device, or who knows what else.
- Geforce experience
- fLUX
- Citrix Workspaces (this must actually be 100% uninstalled)
- Any non-windows antivirus.
1. It is a Rift
2. I will try that tonight
3. It actually do work perfectly fine when I first bought the computer and installed only H3VR, the rift actually work fine in oculus home or steamVR home, I have only played H3VR recently so far so I will have to test other game to see if the same thing happen too.
Thanks for your reply though, I will try everything I can do to make it playable again :).
