Changing the displayed eye in spectator view
Could we get an option to switch the displayed eye in the spectator view ? I like to stream this game to my friends but I have to use my left eye to aim so they also get the sight picture. Would be nice if I could switch it around.

you could always turn on steam vr mirror mode and set it to the right eye and then let your broadcasting software to record that window rather than the games window.

My broadcasting software just displays the entirety of my monitor, so while I thought of that as an option, I'd prefer being able to show my friends the game without the chaperone in the way.

At the moment it's hard coded in by the Unity engine (so stupid). I have a feature request into them to allow it to be configurable again. *grumbles*

Nope. They _still_ haven't added an option for it.

How did boneworks get around this issue then? i remember them having an eye preference.

They are running a much more recent version of the Unity engine than I am. I am stuck on a 3-year old version for complicated reasons.

They're running Unity just like I am. As I said, a more recent version where the camera eye is configurable.

I would stream my steamvr mirror showing the right eye except the framerate from that window is way worse than the H3VR window. Using WMR :/

I've tried it with OBS studio and the Open VR plug in and the Steam VR Mirror set to the right eye, And it is always the same, looks like 25-30 fps regardless of the program or even the game for that matter.

I#m not using the biggest rig but its still somewhat beefy (if you know what i mean) and yet all i try the framerate for the right eye is always worse, while the left eye is as smooth as butter.
