How to play AOT with keyboard and mouse!

First of all, i didn't make this program, it was made by alex_ul2009. The game was pretty much unbearable for me without it.

I found a program that allows you to use the mouse and keyboard as a controller without doing a lot of work. It also works on other games besides AOT. It works pretty well. While moving the camera, you can change its speed using the DPI of your mouse.

Setting Up

1. Download This program [http//www.m+ediafire.com]. It is safe, just remove space after the 'm'.
   
2. Extract the RAR file to any location using a program like 7-Zip or WinRAR.
   
3. Run vJoy.exe in administrator mode, otherwise you may get a message saying the installation failed. If you already have vJoy installed, uninstall that and use this version. Don't worry, it's virus free.

Configurating

1. Open the Script folder, click on FFXIII3Mouse.exe, then on Settings and copy them from "Settings.bmp" included in the RAR file you downloaded. Another way is opening the VJoy configuration tool and doing the same thing as above.
   
2. Go to the Script folder you extracted from the RAR file and run FFXIII3Mouse.exe. Here you can assign buttons on your keyboard and mouse as buttons on a virtual controller. You can find a list of names for buttons you can use by clicking on the "Button List" button, which will take you to a Autohotkeys documentation webpage.

Using

Simply press F4 to start or stop the script that turns your mouse and keyboard into a controller. You will hear a Mario sound whenever you press the button.

Hey can you please link me to the original thread for this, cant seem to find it again. but the problem im having is that when turning or rotating the camera with my mouse it seems to get stuck and start spinning the camera to the left the whole time. i have tried lowering the sensitivity in game and lowering my dpi but both did not seem to work

If you followed every step of the settings, configuring the buttons and stuff, you shouldn't have any issues though, i did just what i described here and it worked pretty well

When I activate it I can't use the W command and also the mouse isn't working as the analog.

I didn't play the game i just tested to see if i can rotate te camera using the mouse and it works ..
I tested again and the camera works but there are some other problems ..

"W command" u mean the w key isn't working ?? that's strange

Do you have a controller connected to the pc while using this script ? if so remove it .. also there are a few screenshots showing how to configure vjoy make sure the virtual gamepad is working correctly, you can press test->properties and then test every button the left stick, right stick .. if it works there then it should also work ingame.

I noticed the game doesn't let me use my keybinds while not in a fight my w a s d are used for camera and i can't change that .. is this happening to anyone else ? all my keybinds go to a default preset and there's no way to change it ..

That's strange. The first time i tried it, i also had that problem. I don't remember how exactly i fixed it, but i just went over all the buttons to see if they were all defined correctly, and then i went and re-calibrated the settings part of the program, after that it just started working fine.

Works fine for me, a program being "old" doesn't imply not working, i have Windows 10 and everything up to date and it works fine. If you want to buy a controller go for it, this is a free alternative to that, so you can play with your mouse.

Maybe the problem is your os (windows 8.1 i'm guessing) .. i have windows 10, no blue screen, no errors.

Here you go, just remove the space after the m
