At the very least, you could load the game up and see if your changes work as intended or break the game!
By " I didn't rly test it .. didn't play the game don't have the time. " i meant to say that i didn't test it enough to be 100% sure that it works flawlessly on any resolution, os, mouse .. and that i didn't finish the game using the this script so i can't say if the script is bug free or not (i only played a bit in the first "level" to check if/how the camera and buttons are working)
I posted this first a while ago in another "discussion" no one reported any problems so i assumed it works well enough.
I tested in "Game Controllers"->"Properties" and the buttons in the image match the button numbers in the test window.
Ingame i tested with a genius gamepad like the one in the image .. and the real gamepad buttons do the same things as the virtual gamepad buttons .. sry .. but i think the button numbers in the image are correct.
Arrow keys are D-pad
WASD are movement
LMB is A (accept)
RMB is B (back/jump)
MMB is center camera
Mouse button 4 is X (map)
Mouse button 5 is Y (menu)
Mouse wheel down is RB (attack/change schemata)
Mouse wheel up is LB (change schemata)
Q is LT (overclock/sprint)
E is RT (libra/sprint)
2 is something that also allows you to sprint for some reason
0 is Start (pause like in FF13 for KB&M)
1 is Back (skip cutscene/show or hide minimap)
Copy and replace whatever is in "Iniread.ini"
there is no how to use file in there, just a simgle .rar file.
thanks for the help, but i only have a 2 button mouse, what exactly are all of the options,
should button configuration type 1 or 2.
which keyboard control buttons can i still safely change in game? i hate that u is to do the attack thing, can i change the keyboard controls as i see fit? or how should i do it?
do i have to change the thing in app/controller or will changing keyboard controls change it?
does the game use both controller and keyboard settings/controls or do i have to set it?
im sorry for all the questions, just curious how and what this thing does.
I don't know what the difference is between button configs 1 and 2 in the FF13:LR options.
You can use all normal keyboard controls from FF13:LR in conjunction with the fake controller (e.g., press enter to confirm or click LMB to confirm both work at the same time), but if a keyboard control uses the same key as the fake controller, the fake controller takes priority. You can safely assign keys for the fake controller or in game however you like though.
what are the default keyboard keybinds currently for each of these? so i can adjust the in screen images?

0,1, and 2 in particular are really strange to me, i dont know what default keybinds they are attached to.
For the default Keyboard and mouse binds in FF13, 0 was the button to pause and 1 was the button to skip cutscenes. I kept it like that because it's my personal preference. You can change them to something like Esc for pause and backspace to skip cutscenes. I recently changed 2 to left shift so I can sprint like I do in most games while keeping the libra and overclock buttons closer to WASD.
That list was just for reference so that when you see a button prompt to hit X or LT, you know what button to press. It also helps with customizing the keybinds for the virtual controller.
ok 0 was default esc, and 1 was defaulted to F1
as for why i was doing this is to change the keybind guides/images next to abilities so that i can make tutorials and UI corrections.
