A guide to joining Multiplayer games via the server browser

Hey all - If you're looking for custom multiplayer action, people are playing on modded clients and servers that allow custom maps and join-in-progress. Plus new features and bug fixes. The modded client lets you join games via DirectIP.

Download OLMod (the latest zip file) https://github.com/arbruijn/olmod/releases
OLMod has its own instructions to install, but the easiest method is copying the zip contents into Overload's main folder. Then run olmod.exe.

A white server on the tracker means the server is running and ready for games.To join an active server, copy and paste the IP address into the "password" field in the "Internet Match" section of your game's multiplayer menu. If you don't have the map, the OLMod client will download it for you.

Overload discord https://discord.gg/veZWsB7 The #play-together channel lets people coordinate game sessions. Need a server location that is offline, such as Australia? The roncli .com servers can be started with a Discord chat command. Example: !start au-southeast

Vanilla multiplayer is also still implemented with its matchmaking system. If you queue up you may find players on official servers. However the server browser lets you see what games are active or have happened recently.

Yes! I've been away a while becuase I was pretty disappointed at the lack of custom mp map support... this sounds wonderful. Will deff be giving it a try!

Its the most usual way because the olmod have all new features and updates for the multiplayer. (like new game-ämodes, some tech improvements and so on). But with the current update you now also can create or join matches from inside the game. ;)
