Level Editor is available...
The Editor only works in Windows (though the created levels will work in Linux/Mac too).

It should be added automatically to your Steam version, but here's a direct link (also, the Steam version currently doesn't have the documentation included, while this does).

Currently the editor can export Single Player levels and Challenge Mode levels with Multiplayer support to be added later (if you're itching to develop MP levels we recommend exporting a potential MP level as SP or CM for testing so it's ready for export when it does get added).

We'll do our best to answer questions about how to use the Editor in the #Level-Editor channel of our Discord. If you're looking for user-created levels, the Discord channel #Level-Publishing is the best place to go (please only comment about the levels in #Level-Editor, though).

Make sure you read the included pdfs - they should help you get started. Here is a link to the first tutorial video in a series that Luke made about the Editor.

To use the levels, place them here:
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Revival\Overload
Linux & OSX: /usr/share/Revival/Overload

Also, the Editor only works in Windows (it's .NET-based), and currently, user-made levels won't load on Linux. We are aware of the Linux problem and are looking into it.
Just to save the minority of non windows players some headaches:

- Right now the editor only runs on windows.
- Loading levels on linux freezes the game.

[Edit] Valkyrie was faster :)
with the current multyplayer condition no need to do any levels. the game will die in a half of year. 30 people online in peack hours and player must wait 10-30 mins for the match to be created. This game is awesome but it have to small community. Let people play as much as they want. Please make more playable online matches so players can see other people or servers waiting for match to begin. Even it will be good to join to already existing matches wich begun a minutes ago. And why people who was waiting 10mins for game to be found should lose their company of players afther game ends and wait another 20 mins for the next match?
Don't forget to put your finished maps here so we can all enjoy them.

It's sad but true, this genre is pretty much a niche market.
My only problem with overload mp is the matchmaking, if only the game provided custom servers. (i'd gladly pay every months for it & i'm sure it's the same for most active dedicated players).

this matchmaking is just not intuitive and absolutely not user friendly good old servers list would have been much better.

Custom servers + mods this game would be IMMORTAL, niche genre sure but in ten years ppl would still be playing like some ppl do with the descent mp.
Is Steam Workshop integration still planned?

We don't have an answer at this time - definitely something that we'll look into, though.
Oh yes! This is awesome news!
WHAAAAAT!

Big news! Thanks guys!
The editor is great news, thanks, guys!

But seriously, do look into Workshop. It's not 2001, people don't really have the patience to mess around with level hosting sites.
