Does hand tracking work through steam?

I have a meta quest pro and on the meta store page it says it has new hand tracking support. However, I would rather buy the game on steam, but I also dont want to give up the functionality.
I have tried doing my own research, but I haven't found anything. I know that steam vr has hand tracking support, but I don't know if the steam version of this game works with it.

I would be really grateful if someone who already has this game could enlighten me.
