I was able to run all other vr titles i've played so far (both oculus store only and steam vr). These include:
- Beat Saber
- Superhot VR
- Windlands
- In Death
- The Wizards
Edit: Also, i don't know if this is supposed to be like this, so i thought i'd share.
To be completely safe, i tried to delete my safe file. That safe file does not exist however (since the game never started). Although there is not even a folder called "LocalLow". Maybe that's supposed to be created on startup, or maybe something went wrong during the download. Uninstalling an re-downloading changed nothing though.
The Owlchemy folder in my AppData/LocalLow/JobSimulator only has a "Unity" folder, no "User" folder.
I will contact the support.
Checking in on this-- did you resolve this issue with support? If so, let us know, and what the solution was so we (and others browsing the forums) can know what fixed it!
If you're still seeing the issue, we recommend running through Room-Scale Setup in both SteamVR AND Oculus Home (Guardian setup) to see if that helps. If you're running an Oculus Rift through SteamVR, the game requires you have room-scale set up on both apps.
However i am currently not at home so i have no way to try. Once i tested if that helps i will both respond to the support and keep you updated here.
Wonderful, that's great to hear! We're happy you were able to resolve the issue so you can play now. :) Thanks so much for your patience while we help track down the solution, and happy jobbing! ☕❤
