Do the days get shorter or am I just reading it slow?

It's my understanding that there are nineteen days in the game, with various people stating it's 8 to 11 hours yet I'm only on the start of day five with three hours played already.

I'm loving it so far, but I want to get a glimpse into how the game is paced.
