What does "promo" drinks mean?

I'm not a native speaker. I googled it but not sure what it means.
Eye-catching drinks that hipsters would like to order (flashy ones)? Drinks that the bar is promoting? Drinks that the bar is known for?

Also, does BTC recipe book have a back button? I tried Esc and BackSpace but had no luck.

As far as I know promo drinks are "weird" drinks, some people just like to have weird stuff. I'm not sure if promo drinks exist in real life though, I only got that information from the game.

Also I'm not sure, never found a back button when I played the game.

Promo is short for Promotional.

Say there's a movie, where the main character drinks something. They give it a name and a recipe.

Then, a bunch of people watch the movie and are like, "Hey! We should get that drink too!" - This is a promo drink. This is also why Jill says that they taste awful- because they're 100% for advertising. If you notice, they also tend to be very expensive.
