Does the truth or dare sequence have any impact on the ending you get?

If you pick the dog every single time you get the true ending where the bar stays open and gets officially renamed the Rad Shiba Bar, but aside from that the sequence doesn't actually affect anything.

Jill picking the dog at any point will dare him to stay outside and wait, excluding him from the rest of the game.

He stays out even after the night ends? That's both sad and hilarious at the same time. Wish I didn't do it in my current playthrough, because god that is one Rad Shiba.

I believe it's just the rest of the Truth or Dare segment, though I never really continued while picking him.
