Alma's age?

Now, this is just speculation, but I think that Alma isn't the age we might assume she is, around 21 to early 30s, but rather quite a bit older, at least 40. The reason I'd speculate this is by the fact a conversation went like this on day 16 and I quote,

"...Alma: I think that was the moment that finally broke the pedestal I held her on.
Alma: I admired her as much as a kid could admire someone, you know?
Alma: Little by little, that admiration wore off, until we finally reached that breaking point. I felt betrayed.
Jill: And you haven't been able to forgive her after 40 years?
Alma: Hey.
Alma: ...it's not that I still hold a grudge against her. But rather..."

Now, this could be sarcasm on Jill's part, but the delivery would suggest otherwise, we do know Alma is over 21 years old, according to a conversation with Jill about how she was named the "Brandtini Lady" by her dad, however we are never told the exact age. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
