VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action

[SPOILERS] Va-11 Hall-A x Girls Frontline collaboration is out now!
This is absolutely the most beautifully crafted and excellently written collaboration I've seen in the whole new industry of mobile games. I love how we're getting all the best parts of both settings, and the humour, and the fact that we EVEN GET TO SERVE CUSTOMERS!? They even slip in the "serving two people" aspect in a way, but since it isn't coded in you just serve them one at a time and they figured out how to make it work in with a combination of the physics of both universes.

Seeing as this is the coolest hottest ♥♥♥♥ right now what is your favourite moments so far? What do you think of the collab?

My favourite has to be Dorothy is Prime Minister.

And furthermore, to anyone joining us for the first time from the Girls Frontline players, welcome! I hope you'll enjoy Va-11 Hall-A, unlike how you will enjoy having to type it out obsessively every time you want to talk about it with other people.

This collab is great and the mission storyline for it was a rollercoaster of emotions.

On the drink segments the one with HK G28 and 416 is my favorite!
I was told that the Flaming Moai is available to mix, I wonder if there's any dialogue for it?

I don't know about that, but I've never gotten away with serving the wrong drink even when it was the moment with 416

G36 was good, but 416 was gold
What an emotional rollercoaster, all for the sake of justifying the Valhalla cast within the GF universe.

If you're a fan of both you really have to at least watch a playthrough of the story. It's quality that commands the same respect as this game itself and GF's Deep Dive story (when their writing started getting good).
The real sad part is that none of this is archived in gfl so that you can read/ view it later like you can do with the main story and past events. :(

My waifu can beat up your waifu... Maybe... I'm pretty sure...
i genuinly L O V E the collab and im hopping to get all the new goodies (doubt it cause im stuck on the 5((?)) mission)
That was quite a wild ride for a relatively short campaign. My favorite part was finding out that the "sandstorm" was not sand.

Bumping to support this.
Girls Frontline is an actually pretty good Gatcha strategy game. Even without the collab its at least worth trying out.

I've yet to spend a dime on it.
Cheapmanders, represent.
Any advice for a new GFL player for finishing the event in the remaining time and getting all the VA-11 HALL-A characters?

I recommend Ceia's guides for estimated echelon strengths and strategy for each map. The maps from the 6th onward need a high leveled echelon to tackle, with the 8th needing two.
Keep in mind that you can even run the first event mission 10 times each day to get the 60 fragments/day easily! These will buy you most of the event stuff from the shop.
Aside from that just use main story maps and combat simulations to level your team enough to beat event map 8 for Jill. (then afterwards use your remaining days towards farming Chikenbreast for Sei and LastRain for Stella)
Good luck!!

I saw that guide, and tried following it for the 4th mission, but the non-super powerful Gundam just kept annihilating me. Any advice on dealing with that kind of enemy without being so powerful as to instantly blow it to pieces like in the guide?

Oh right, I forgot these aren't too helpful on battle tactics.
The Gundam things are armored so a strong RF (or MG) is recommended. A way to stall the missile barrage slightly is to move your maintank into the front row at battle start, then the moment the robot is coming to a stop move your maintank back to the middle row.
...Same principles apply to the smaller laser robots and the tanks, although their tile-based attacks are actually avoidable.
I'm using this guide, it might be helpful as it lists what type of dolls and their level ranges. For the normal stages you should have at least say 5 level 70s with either 3 but better off with 4 dummies.

I know the feels about missing out. I started playing the game half way through the Operation Rabbit Hunt event, I just barely got https://en.gfwiki.com/wiki/Elphelt before the end of the event. Well worth the pain for her though. XD

Pro-tip:

Shotguns and Slug Ammo + NBE
Um....everything? I had heard of both games before the colab, but a buddy started talking about GFL when it was announced. I downloaded it ab played near the July 4th cause I was interested.

I beat the vanilla colab yesterday. I legit cried hearing the opening when I started playing VA-11 a week ago. Both of these games were amazing.
I thought I was prepared for the collab, but I wasn't, and even though I'm making progress (finally beat map 5 today) there's no way I can get to, let along beat map 8, even if I was playing more per day than I am already. Which is a good 3 hours. Even if I bought into the game more than I have, I couldn't possibly get far enough. Is there just something I'm missing? The guides aren't helping me enough. I'd hate for them to make it easier for me, but I can't see how this will keep people coming for Vallhalla to keep playing. I honestly think I won't mentally be able to continue with the game if I can't get Jill and Stella and Sei and unlock all of the story.
