When does this game become fun?

I must know when this game becomes fun. I've tryed to play it but i'm bored mixing drinks. What is the big deal with the overwhelmingly positive reviews? Please give me something to look forward to.

It's a visual novel, you play it for the story and the characters. If you don't care about those it's probably not for you as there is no other gameplay...

I like the artwork but I guess what I'm wondering is, do the drinks that I mix affect the story? How do my choices affect the story?

That's the thing about games: Either you like them or you don't. Both is fine, but don't complain if it's just not for you.

the drinks you make affect the story, sucha s getting differnewt endings and whatnot. was never an expert, so can't tell you what to do...i'd say maybe follow the customer's request most of the time?

The overall story is always the same but you can get different conversations if you get people drunk. Also there are special scenes at the end if you give people their favorite drink when they hint at it.

I didn't find it fun at the beginning as well, but through the game I grew more and more fond of Jill and all the characters. I suggest playing it for a while more.

Thanks for all the input. Im not trying to bring anyone down. I am definitely not trying to deter anyone from buying the game, or I would have posted a negative review. I'm just not a very good or patient gamer. I mostly but these types of games because I like the artwork.

Well this is a story and character driven visual novel. It's not like it's some fast paced action game.
