Electricity Bill
I'm on chapter 3 and appears I over spent after the last electricity bill so now I have to save up to $10k before the end of the month. So my question is what happens if you don't have enough for to pay the electricity bill? Does the game end?

No, not paying electricity is ok, you get bad ending if you don't pay rent (the 10k one). And you don't have to start over even if you won't pay rent, "bad ending" is written in quotes for a reason. It's pretty funny.

Yeah what kugrond says is right, my bad. Was thinking of the rent payment later. I believe missing a bill payment just leads to Jill being distracted like when making drinks she will be thinking about that missed payment instead of what the customer ordered so you'll have to pay extra attention cause you won't have Jill remembering what drinks to mix.

Keep in mind that if you've been saving your game regularly in different save slots you can probably just go back to before you've spent all that money and salvage the ending.
If I remember correctly you need just under $2000 the day you first see the rent notice to be able to get to $10000 by the end of the month.

What does the apartment looks like if you miss the bill? Is it just pitch black?

According to the people on this discussion, I think it goes to the "cozy hell" ending and goes back to the main menu. I could be wrong.

No I mean what does it look like in the parts between work.

Well since it's already been spoiled I might as well let you know what happens. If you don't pay the bill you get distracted the day of the bill where Jill constantly blames her mobile game and dild0 buying habits on why she couldn't pay.

Since this is techincally the second time she hasn't paid her bill on time, she gets evicted on February of the next year. The game "ends" no matter before this though so this affects you in no way. By getting evicted you are automatically locked out of every and all "good" ending and are stuck with the cozy hell "bad" ending.

If you want some advice if you still have some days left before the bill, try serving bigger drinks and if the client gives you options to choose from, always choose the more expensive drink.

Unless I'm mistaken (I did test it though) the big drinks still only cost the menu price.

Ain't "Cozy Hell" when you fail to pay the rent? When you fail to pay the electricity bill, the just shut of your electricity.

I remember reading somewhere, I'm pretty sure it's on his wiki, that Ingram doesn't pay extra for big drinks, just the regular price. I haven't tested this, but I thought if the wiki says that he doesn't, then somebody in the game clearly must.

Of course what I read could very well be wrong or patched out since I never bothered to test it's validity

I just replayed day 16 (guests include Ingram, Alma, Gil, and TOMCAT) and no one paid anything extra for large drinks. So if there really is anybody who appreciates it, they seem to be in the minority.

Just in case anyone was wondering about the actual electricity bill (8k on day 12) and not the rent (10k on day 18) like other cases it causes to Jill to be distracted the following day.

Along with this, it also permanently removes power from her apartment. Cosmetically all this means is that the lights are off for the rest of the run. Mechanically, she can still use her phone since it's a mobile device so the only real downside is it stops you from playing Warrior Jullian minigame until the next playthrough.

If you don't need/want to play that then the consequence is negligible because you get to keep however much money you did have and it only distracts her for the following day, no others.
