PERFECT achievement

Does anyone know if you need to go through full album in one sitting and not take a single hit? Or can it be done by replaying levels one by one?

Damn, was disappointed to complete a no-hit run (restarting the level whenever I got hit) and find out one sitting means essentially the same as an Arcade run but even harder.
