Bug: Missing Character

I have gotten towards the end of the game, having completed each character's story except for Bertha. She at Chapter 3 but she does not appear on the map and I am unable to locate her by looking for her campfire. I have tried wandering around serveral states and toggleing various map tabs.

Hi, just wanted to confirm this bug. The exact same thing happened to me, except I'm on Bertha's second chapter. I've also finished all the other characters' stories, but she was missing even before I did that.

If someone can tell me where to look for the output_log file, I'll post mine as well.

Thanks all, I think I tracked this down - Bertha's locations were set up incorrectly, and I think that was preventing her finding a good place to sit down. I've put in some extra safety checks for this sort of thing as well, and the fix will be in the next patch.

Hey, I've been having this same issue with Dehaaqa. I see a mention about a fix in the next patch, is that coming anytime soon? Really like the game, would love to be able to wrap it up.

The game will be patched next weekend, with a fix for this issue, new content, and a bunch of other stuff. Sorry for the delay; getting the new content in takes some time!

I still seem to be having the missing Bertha problem. She disappeared several days ago, before the most recent update, but is still gone after it. Did the fix just prevent the problem from occuring in the future or should it have made her reapear?

If you run into this issue, please try pushing "F8" while you're walking around. That will force a re-check of the character placement locations and should force any missing characters to show up.

Pressing F8 did indeed cause Bertha to reappear, although each press made one character show up dispite having completed their stories. Nevertheless, I was able to finish the game and it was beautiful and wonderful and fantastic.

Hi ! Currently playing this gorgeous game, but I'm encountering the same bug mentionned before: as I've completed 15 characters stories, Bertha is unavailable on the map (Chapter 2 in my current progression). I've been trying to press F8 many many times but it doesn't work so far. Please help me because I've gathered 220 stories and I REALLY don't want to start over from the very beginning.

Can you please send me your output_log.txt file and your save file (both are in C:/Users/<username>/AppData/LocalLow/Dim Bulb Games/WhereTheWaterTastesLikeWine\, the save file will be under a directory named after your Steam ID, a long number.)
