Flickering text on the "Active Stories' page

Selecting a story on the Active Stories page (highlighting it white) causes the text to flicker in and out.

It's not a huge issue, but it is annoying. What can be done about it?

I'm having the same issue but also the cursor won't let me scroll past the first three stories.
This only happens when I try to use a mouse but it doesn't happen with the controller. The flickering happens with both though.

Played the game for the first time today (Dec 8) and I'm also seeing this flickering issue. It's very off-putting!

I can't scroll with my mouse, either, but I can click and drag to see the other stories.

Same, also I don't even understand how to activate stories. I click one and go out of the menu and back and it's empty again.

The problem of strobing text in the story inventory remains unremedied in 2023. It did not exist back when I played the game shortly after release. I should've taken the hint back when people reported the bug with mouse-look forcing the camera into a useless top-down position & the dev just removed mouse-look completely rather than fix it. Also it's a very bad sign when a game forces you to google its controls including basics like accessing necessary menus. Feeling pretty sick about this cos I recommended this game to a whole bunch of people just this week on the strength of my original experience & now I have to chase them all down to make sure none of them will risk death by opening the story inventory. I even bought it as a gift for someone just yesterday. Now I have to go alter my longstanding positive review to a full thumbs down. Heartbreaking. This game deserves better.

Still happen in 2025. Though in my case, right clicking after the text flicker seems to fix it. Bad news, I got to right click everytime I browse new category
