Watch Dogs 2 Language Problem

Hi, So i live in Georgia (Country) And i wanna buy Watch Dogs 2 but only Russian version of the game is here and i dont know russian is there english patch or something? Please help me

Yes there is a lot of guides how to make your game english

go to the community guide for this game, someone posted a guide how to play in english, I dont know if it works or not

It works, I tested it myself few times, but it works on Steam version only, and it doesn't look like Sandro have a Steam version, so that guide probably would be useless for him.

wait, are you telling me that the guide works? like really works with English UI, English dialogue and subtitle?

Yeah, that's what is said in the guide, and that's what I can confirm (speaking a co-author and a beta-tester) But may I ask why do you need it, does Ubisoft consider Indonesia as a part of the China region?? It's just I thought that only Russian, CIS and Chinese accounts will receive language-locked version of the game. I thought Indonesian accounts should receive a WW or ASIA version of the game. Does it say: "Purchases made in this region will only receive the Russian and Simplified Chinese languages." when you open a game' store page?

oops, my bad. I live in China at the moment, been here 6 years. Thats why even if bought the game in Indonesia, its still going to get the region locked thing because my ip is in CIS. thanks for the confirmation. But I am gonna wait a little bit longer, I want to see whether Ubisoft will patch this method out or not.

Guys, just noticed that audio language selection appeared in the same version of AC Syndicate (was Russian only back when it was released). Can you please check if there's now English audio in WD2 as well?

try to change the language in properties tab of the game to chinese. in WD2 there is english audio files when you choose chinese language. check the WD2 guide, someone posted a guide how to make the game in full english both text and audio

I don't have it on pc, that's why i'm asking. There's evidence that Ubisoft is finally softening the whole language restriction thing officially. Needs checking.

No. I contacted Ubisoft Support today and they told me that they can't add English language for my Steam purchase in China region!

still I played WD 2 in english both audio and text. you better check the guide and see for yourself
