I got suspicious when Earth Awakening installed in about one second so I checked the forums and found this post. Verifying the game cache started up a 1.2 gig download. Everyone who buys both games needs to know this.
I also read on another forum that iff you install Earth Awakening first some files get over-written with the old versions so you need to install Silverfall first as noted in this post.
I followed this and my game plays as well :) (only level 15 right now so we will see :P)
Is this on Win 7 or Win 10?
It's on Win 10
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/physx/physx-9-13-0604-legacy-driver/
It seems, legacy driver is officially supported till Win 7, so don't know it will work or not!
Yeah, i tried it first without the PhysX Legacy version, but most spell effects are simply missing, like there is no fireball when casting that spell, lightning lights up the surroundings, but without the lightning, and so on.... Also, many sfx are either not working, or only partially working (dunno if the sfx issue is related to PhysX or not, was just hoping that might fix it too)
Game runs okay so far, some graphics are still a little bit wonky (elemental projectiles and meditation in particular), but after 3 hours playing it, it suddenly ran into a fatal runtime error and just crashed to desktop..... dunno if that last bit is related to the graphics bugs, or if it's a separate issue....
