A guide to fix the playtime problem

Go to your GTL Folder 1. Look for the sudo.exe --> rename it to sudo.exe.backup (make it into a "Backup-file" 2. Make a copy!!! of the GTL.exe file 3. Rename the GTL Copy.exe to sudo.exe (works with GTR2 too)

Windows 8(.1) support

For windows 8 the game requests to be run as an administrator. The settings is however not elevated and as such there are not settings for the game. This makes it crash istantly. How to fix: go to the game folder e.g. SteamApps\common\GT Legends\GTLConfig....

NO audio on fresh/clean install

It's been many years. But I thought I would play this game again. Due to the age and compatibility issues I decided to buy it on Steam to avoid the starforce bs. However, while the game launches - with the annoying configuration tool every time - there is ZERO audio. Absolute silence. I cannot find any solution to this anywhere....

GTL online multi player club needs more drivers

Hi, I organise weekly GTL events every Monday evening at www.simracing.org.uk We are a UK based sim racing community that runs the older racing sims (GPL, GTL). We have a core of good drivers from many countries but we are desperate to attract more slower/mid paced racers to our grids.
