It's basically a "Simon" game, just keep repeating the tone sequence. My short term memory is lousy, so I ended up using the calculator app on my phone to help. Pick four numbers in a square, such as:

45
12

It's a good idea to hold the phone (or even a normal calculator will work) up so you can see both the game screen and the calculator at the same time. Hit the number corresponding to the position of the tone block as the notes play, and you'll end up with a sequence of numbers like 11242542, or whatever. Then you can use that as a guide to hit the right blocks. Before you hit the last one, remember it then hit clear so you're ready for the next sequence. It might take a couple tries to get the hang of it, but it makes the puzzle so much easier.

That's actually pretty ingeniuous. My memory is pretty bad, too, so something like that goes a long way. Thanks for the suggestion!

Dang man that is pretty cool the way you did it Estragon, wish I would have done it your way instead of how I did it. I wrote letters on paper next to the four squares set in position as to how they were on screen and descended down alphabet repeating letters that were on the same stone so I would know what stone to go to next and in which order. It was a pain in the neck, your way would have made it a lot easier for me. The biggest problem was not taking my eyes of the screen and withing down the letters blindly on the paper. Sheesh, don't wanna think of how much paper I wasted :steamhappy:

Yeah, even with that suggestion, I still can't do it.

It might take a bit of practice to get used to. I managed to screw it up a few times as I was getting the hang of it. I don't remember off the top of my head, but it's possible the pattern repeats after a bit if you don't start hitting stones. If it does, you can use that to check the numbers or retype them if needed.

Holy crap @Estragon ! That technique finally got me past those annoying puzzles. I kept using a notepad. Much easier on a calculator app.

You can hit Start to bring up the inventory, and it pauses the game. So you can see a tone, pause, write it down, unpause, see another tone, etc. Makes it very easy.

Thanks! I've been trying to figure it out and was not sure if I could do this. Perhaps using both a calculator and paper might help? My memory can get a little forgetful sometimes.

I would hold a pen over paper and write numbers in the position that the tone stone was. So if the upper-left stone rings, I write "1" in the upper-left of a square shape. Then when the upper-right one rings next, write a "2" in the upper-right. Ends up with something looking like this.

14 ------- 26

578 ------- 39

Once done, you have numbers showing what order to hit and where.
