English Channel Tunnel Bug? (Europe 7)
Hey guys, I'm back with another possible bug?
So after you deliver 1,800 or 2,000 machines, you are left with one final task of transporting 1,000 passengers and cargo using the tunnel.

So I paused it for a bit and brainstormed of how exactly I would approach this. I decided to connect the town on the far left in England and Calais with passengers and destroy the shipping route and use trains instead. Instead of having the cargo and passenger trains using the same track, I made both sets of tracks two-way (back and forth) with any of them sharing track, to make it a bit speedier. I also added another tunnel right next to the main one like this:

But I guess the game was not happy of my actions?:steamfacepalm:
I've been running the lines for a few years now as you can see and it's really starting to take off, especially the passenger route with can carry over 130 passengers, but neither the cargo or passengers are being counted. So what's the deal, yo?:steamsad:

I'm pretty sure this happens because you "Added" to the tunnel and the trains are using sections of your built track instead of the games provided line to cross the channel.

When I ran through this mission I just used the tunnel as is, one track in each direction, with the line splitting into pax and freight stations after they leave the mission provided track sections near Dover and Calais.

Worked for me without issue!

As a work around, try reloading an autosave a few years back before you built the extra sections and see if it works.

Thanks bud, I will give that a try. I was just hoping to keep the tunnel less crowded with trains. I still have the original save before I made all the changes, so it should be no problem going back.

I know what you mean, I was mortified when the last objective came up. I'd built a massive 4-track passenger network and planned to link it all with TGVs through the tunnel. Then "transport cargo" came up and I was just like .... sh!t.... this isn't what i'd planned for lol.

I did manage to split the line to just head to seperate pax and cargo stations on either end, both fed by trucks really (the same trucks that were feeding the docks before). Managed to get the objective with 3 TGVs and two frieght trains sharing the line with pretty much no big traffic jams!!
