Commercial: Traffic simulation modelling?
Have the developer had a look at this commercial software to see if they can learn from it? I think the traffic is not accurate because it might be expensive trying to get the expert to help? If the traffic that could be simulated more realistic would it help with the 20min issue or is it not related?

There are lots of video to watch about the software

PTV Vissim is rounded off with comprehensive analysis options, creating a powerful tool for the evaluation and planning of urban and extra-urban transport infrastructure. For example, the simulation software may be used to create detailed computational results or impressive 3D animations for different scenarios. It is the perfect way to present convincing and comprehensible planned infrastructure measures to decision-makers and the public.

While this is not a bad idea at all, and worthy of merit. Is it really worth it?

The main word that we are dealing with is game, not simulator. As a game, so long as systems feel right, they don't need to be accurate.

I myself would love to see a deep transport/train management simulator and for that, your suggestion would be almost a must have. But for a game, I'd rather see the devs use their resources to making something that feels and plays right

Thank you and i know its a very complex & expensive but the developer are not new so perhaps something they can think about for their games? Because i posted this from knowing how many complaint they are from cities in motion 2 and cities in skyline. That the traffic is just crap and silly because they do silly thing so perhaps learning from the experts might help with the issues? Developer will do this and go out and research so they can make their game more realistic.

So if they can have it then all the better but if cost too much time and resource then never say never. :) As transport fever is their 3rd game now, right?
