Developers please add a 5760 x 1080 resolution.
I just bought a new PC with 3 32 inch monitors. I'm currently able to play Transport Fever at 5760 x 1080 in windowed mode and it is really awesome in cockpit view. Unfortunately since it's in windowed mode the window's title bar is visible and the Windows task bar is also visible. These things kind of destroy the immersion.

So please add 5760 x 1080 resolution. The game already works fine at this resolution so I would think it would be a relatively simple matter to add this feature.

Note: There is a small amount of stretching on the side monitors but I don't consider it to be any kind of real problem. It's not bad.

On a related note. Does anybody know if there is a way for me to get the game to run at 5760 x 1080 on my own? Perhaps by editing a file or some such thing?

I personally enjoy using 2 screens for proficient multitasking. F.ex. one for gaming and the other one for typing ;)
I never really saw much use for multiple displays shared for one application/game, but everything depends on your preferences.

The resolution settings are stored here: "\Steam\userdata\<yoursteamid>\446800\local\settings.lua"
windowSize = { 1920, 1080, },
I don't think TpF provides an option to make the window borderless, but you might want to try google. There are several methods/programs that can do it.
The task bar can be set hidden or to auto-hide on one/multiple screens as well.

Thank you for the help! I got it working in full screen. LOL: I'm a little confused as to exactly what happen but I think your suggestion lead the way to getting it done.

There's a chance that I am misremembering things but here's what I think happened:

First I tried changing windowSize like you suggested. That caused the game to open in a window that was almost the correct size but there was still no change in the list of available resolutions. So no full screen.

Then I changed the value of oldWindowSize to 5760 x 1080. When I started the game it came up with a message asking if I wanted to revert to old resolution. I clicked on yes and it switched to 5760 x 1080 full screen. The 5760 x 1080 resolution even appears in the full screen resolution list now.

ALT+Enter is the prescribed method to swtich between windowed and fullscreen, in fullscreen mode it should default to your native resolution.

On a side note, I have an ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor. For actual gaming I much prefer fullscreen, but for developing mods it's tremendously useful to have half the screen with a windowed game and the other half my text editor. The half-screen snapping feature in Windows 7+ makes this very easy. I find 21:9 monitors the best of both worlds, effectively dual-display when needed and single-screen when gaming or watching video. I'll never go back to non-ultrawide :)

Especially games like Transport Fever benefit a lot from multiple displays. The problem with 2 monitors is that dialogs tend to being opened in the middle of the virtual screen - which means partially on one monitor and partially on the other monitor.
A while ago I upgraded to three monitors therefore. And this is simply awesome! I can recommend this to all other people who want to increase the experience of a game.
Running on linux you can do everything you want: remove borders of windowed games, position and scale it how you want to - but this needs a lot of power! :D

One thing I like about three monitors is that it's extra cool in cockpit view. It feels like you are in a locomotive with a 3 panel windshield. The monitor bezels actually add to the immersion.

yes, correct - same impression to me
