However, saying this, a patch a while back changed the routing logic and path find to reset back to the first stop when things change, so this might not work as a temporary skip.
Why do you want or need to skip a stop just once? It shouldn't matter.

Currently, I usually just delete all the other stations from the line which forces the train to pick a route to the desired station (sometimes dumping the load in the process), then re-add the other station(s). I could live with this if it was only caused by my mistakes, but sometimes it's because of the game's bugs/quirks and that annoys me a lot.
