Does destroying farmlands decreased production?
I want too build a train line but the farm I want to use is completely surrounded by farmlands. I just want too know if destroying the farmlands to make room for tracks will decrease production?

Please and thank you.

No, farmland is aesthetics and there to make the world map look nice.

So far, 3200 is the highest production rate I could get, but I think it can go even higher, around 6400 or 128K a year.

Seems like it should given that it warns you about it...

Right now I have cargo depot with 7 lanes that i'm going too use with two farms feeding into one food factory, so I think i will beable to handle that(maybe). =P

How do you get to load the cargo from the industries into the stations? Whatever I tried, I can't seem to get them to move more than 1-2 cargos per second into the station(s). Even if I build multiple stations, different types, multiple platforms, multiple lines. And since they load so slow, they also don't seem to grow higher than around 300. Loading from station into train/truck/whatever is fast, but loading from industry into station always seems to be the bottleneck to me...

Destroying a field costs money for sure.

Yes it costs money this time (unlike in Train Fever) but it causes no determent to the farm, just costs you an extra 200k to remove a field.

Seriously? One of my friends also got their farm and food processing plant up to 3,2K production rate. Try yourself!

I assume it warns you because of the cost associated with it. A $10k road can suddenly be a $1M road if it goes through some fields.

There seems to be clog in your line, make sure all goods have a place to go and click on the factorys then click detail, it should say ship more of( whatever you are trying too move) if too much stuff builds up in factorys and they have no where to go they will stop making stuff all together.

I wish I could just show you my set up, its way to crazy to put into words.

I know about Steam screenshots, my set up is all over the place, it wouldn't be just one picture.
