How to make freight station load goods faster?

Per the title. Got a freight train station within the highlighted area of a coal min and I can see tons of coal bins lining up, but the actual loading coal into the train station is taking forever (and costing me money). What do I need to do to speed things up?

I wonder if placing the station closer to the production point speeds up the transfer of goods from the factory to the station. I also wonder if, like the production itself, it takes a little bit of time to "warm up" the transfer to the station. I've noticed something similar when I first start up a freight line, but it seems like after running for a while there's no longer any issue. Maybe I'll go back to my 'Murica Campaign Mission #2 game tonight and see what the factory-to-station transfer rates are looking like now that they're "established"...

More terrible design choices. I see a truck pull up. The cargo disappears, then the truck sits there for 5-10 seconds then it pulls away. This is a massive drain on efficiency. Is it the cargo physically moving? Can we actually see our cargo like we could in the last game, like you could see it moving around from place to place with an option.

yes, i have this problem too, production is going down because the factory storage is full, but the cargo stations and vehicles empty, an then the sentence: try to transport more [...] ...

In Train Fever, some of the coal would have been travelling to the station and some would travel down the road to anyplace that demanded it. You could see this with the cargo overlay that does not seem to be present in Transport Fever so I'm not sure if this works the same way. In Train Fever, demand drove this, and to get more product to the station, you would simply add more trucks to the route to stay ahead of demand with the result being more product goes to station and less goes down the road. At least I think that's how it worked.

Simple... you can't transport goods when no one is demanding them... so its not that loading takes too long.
Check your connections, the receivers end of whatever cargo it is, I bet they saturated or full in stock.

ok people in this forum need to shut up about "demand isnt there". Its spammed in every thread about this issue.
Its not helpful and adds noise that prevents fixing this issue.

I can have an endproduct in store at a factory and deliver in to a city that has 5% satisfied demand for it and my trucks will still wait forever to have the product move from the factory to the terminal.

Same here. Connection are good, i didnt change anything but it stoped. On storage i have 58 but no one go to station... it worked but just stopped.

it works fine with trainstations, but if i use a cargo station for my trucks, the storage from the production site is full, but not 1 single item goes in to my loading station for my trucks, which is placed rigth beside the factory....

Are the trucks set up to deliver to the next step in the production chain? If they aren't, the factory won't put any products into the station to begin with.

(Edit: And if you're going to answer "Yes of course they're set up for that already," then I'm going to preemptively reply with "Provide a screenshot of the situation.")

they are. the cargo stationfor my trucks is connectet to the street, the trucks can drive from the "öil field" to the production site, wich has also a loading station. the line works fine, my trucks go from point 1 to point 2, but there is no oil in my loading station....
