Iron Ore doesn't work.
Anyone else have this issue? Train stations won't cause them to work.

Experiencing similar with crude oil. Zilch production :/

Goods factory is also experiencing issues. No production despite being full on steel plastic and oil.

Do you guys have routes set up to move the production chain along? Goods factory will stop producing if it doesn't have anywhere to send the goods, (1 town is rarely enough as once you hit their requirement limit, they stop allowing the goods to be shipped until they do need it again, causing a backwards knockon effect down the chain, right back to the original source eventually.

When demand rises again, so will production, but if you haven't balanced it correctly, you'll have vehicles sitting around costing you money in the meantime.

Having the same issue with a variety of coal, iron ore and crude oil. Have tried train depots and truck depots. Verified I have the right cars on the trains and trucks. Some resource factories just do not work no matter what you do.

Yeah I've got a goods truck wasting 50k a year cuz its just toodling back and forth doing nothing. from 1920-1960 the factory has produced NOTHING yet has been filled for 30 years.
What I had to do to get my Iron and Coal working was connect it to a Steel Factory. Once I connected my resources to the factory then they started to produce Coal and Iron.

Did that. Doesn't work with trains, only road.

Hmm. How I had mine routed were by road to a rail terminal.. then from first rail terminal to second rail terminal. Then back to road again. So, you could be right because I didn't try to do any with rail directly. I went Road > Rail > Rail > Road > Factory

In my case, I have everything set up to start the production of fuel. Trucks/ships/etc. Not a single drop of crude oil is being produced.

Fuel tends to decay slower than some other commodities. That being said if you're growing the town properly it should be difficult to satisfy the place.

I've got the same problem with the FIRST mission in the American Campaign. The Iron Ore factory produces until I place a train or truck stop with its radius. Then nothing.

There's nothing to do (nothing to connect to) to change the situation. Scenario demands I transport it to another factory to tranform it into goods and then to the town.

Scenario is DEAD. This game has so much potential but such problems make it SU C K.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed to see other experiencing the same/similar issue(s)

Given that I just finished that mission (again) a couple of days ago, I know for a fact that if you have set up the Iron Ore > Tools Factory > Town chain correctly, it works fine. If you are having issues with it, I'd suggest posting some screenshots to show everything so that someone can help you figure out what's gone wrong.

I have a screenshot. Can anyone tell me how to post it? I can't find a button or link to upload a jpg. to post it here.

What's happening at the tools factory? What does it say is the Potential for tools (Details tab I believe)? Does it say Yes or No for Line Usage? What does the Iron Mine say for Line Usage?

Did any Iron Ore get put on your Freight train station or a truck station?

How many Commercial buildings in Laramie are covered by Road Vehicles (blue buildings on the appropriate overlay (bottom right corner of the screen))? Are you bringing tools back to Rawlins? While the Iron Ore Mine will start producing Ore, as you initially have found, when it sees demand, and the Tools factory will accept Iron Ore, if the Tools factory doesn't have anywhere to send the tools to it will stop demanding Iron Ore after it's initial production, and the Iron Mine will stop producing Iron Ore.

Edit: You can either upload an image as "artwork", take a picture ingame with the Steam Overlay (F12 Key?) and then include it in your post, or upload it to an external image sharing site and post the link here.

Here's the Rawlins Iron Ore at the scenario start. Everything's fine.
