Best laptop for this game?

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of upgrading my laptop from my current machine which is an MSI GT70 ond gaming laptop and was wondering, if you too play Transport Fever on a gaming laptop, what machine you use/reccommend for the best gameplay.

Mu current machine is adequate but I was thinking an upgrade would solve some ot the 'juddering' I am seeing in the later game on a large map.

Is there any setup which would give a truly smooth train ride.

I play this game on a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop and it works just fine.

I have a Prostar P955ER, 500 GIG SSD (and a 1TB HD), 9th gen i7- (6 cores, 8750), 32 megs RAM, Nvidia 1070 GPU, 4.37 lbs .... and it plays this (or any other game) VERY well..... however, ANY computer no matter what the specs will have some studdering.

Overkill? Probably.

Do your research(!) and be sure you get a cooling pad no matter what you get!

I've got a hp gaming pavillion with the i7 8750h and 1060maxq and it works really well

Basically, any laptop that has an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card that meets the requirements and a CPU that meets the requirements, 16GB ram, 1080p display (minimal) will work. I play on a ThinkPad P51.. But I usually plug it into a monitor unless traveling.

But playing on any laptop that has Intel only graphics and the ultra power saving cpus will not work very well. Real i7 or ryzen7 (or higher) CPUs and real AMD Vega (56, 64, r7) or NVIDIA rtx/gtx > 760 should be OK.

Those are not really laptops though.. They're mobile gaming workstations or mobile desktop replacements with desktop components.
