Station connection not detecting
"not connected" my ass game! The line is continuous from both points, no disconnections found.

Anyone else have this annoying glitch? where two stations CLEARLY connected will not detect theyre connected?

No, thats the problem.
I scoured the ENTIRE route between the two stations. Theres no interuptions whatsoever, but it WILL NOT make the route, only saying "stations are not connected"

My only plausible guess is its a mod station, but that also cant be it, because the line I made for it before was working perefctly fine. For some reason it wont take the second line at all.
Like, its a farm to food line, yeah. The stations (both the moded one) detectedf just fine, working normally. But when trying to connect the food station to the city destination, it WILL NOT detect.

I tried to see where the disconnect was, from both ends. I put a depot right next to the station at the food plant (it gets to the city just fine, but wont detect the line on the return, and, for me, the entire ength to the city is fine.

Again, I WANT to say its the stations, give it is a mod, but if the other two worked fine, should the same be true? or do vanilla stations have this happen ever once in a while too?
Disconnects are usually from when buffers are between your stations, not actually connected. (depth perception can be a pain sometimes) yet I see nothing of the sort, it SHOULD be detecting the conection.

Sure you are not missing electric supply somewhere, either at station, cross over, set of points, even the depot...

its 1850 still
I even put a depot right at the first station, and it STILL doesnt detect

Nevermind, I think I figured it out.
This mod station actually has options for 2 terminals, I had it set to 1. My bad ^^'

I had the same problem. A line that was working for several years suddenly quit saying two stops were "not connected".... but they were. Moving all the trucks to the depot, deleting all the stops and redoing them, and even deleting/replacing the truck terminals didn't help.

What did work was just deleting the old line and making a new one (funny, same stops in the same order). Worked like a charm. Reassigned the trucks to the new line and everything was fine.

You obviously missed something. I've had this happen to me numerous times and its always been my fault. Sometimes just a hairline break in a rail line, or a poor point connection, sometimes a tiny break in electrification. I find in particualr that electification of points and switches are easily botched and very hard to spot even with the highlighting tool.

Redoing the whole line will usually work because you will automatically destroy and rebuild the problem section.

You could always temporarily load the no cost mod to rebuild a line like that.

Well the alternative is to zoom in really close and inspect every section of the line, until you find the mistake.

Ah, i just figure it out cause this game for sure doesnt tell you!
If you build a second line of tracks from Station - Configure - Add track it wont connect as a separate line cause if you click on station - terminals tab it will still show a single terminal, you ALSO NEED TO ADD A SECOND PLATFORM, now it will show as a station with two terminals. Now you can select a transport line to use the second track.

@DonBrother - this is TpF1 forum , no Station - configure here .
