Why does a window lock to the mouse?
Sometimes a vehicle window snaps to the mouse cursor, and other then exiting the game, I can't unsnap it.

Press Delete, removes all the windows, I have same issue from time to time. It's like it's clued to end of the cursor.

I have several problems with my mouse in tf.. like laying tracks, the mouse keeps "letting go" of the track.. it's an ouroboros, works fine with all other games, but in tf it's just a failmouse.

Escape also often works to close the latest window.
I have occasionally had this problem, but never anything else.

I'm using a bog standard Dell optical mouse, absolutely nothing fancy :D

sometimes my view starts moving in one direction across the map and only way to stop it is wildly press anything I can think of. And when laying track sometimes it sticks to the mouse.

I know how to fix your first problem, i have the same issues sometime. Just press the arrow key that points in the same direction that your moving in, the command to move the camera thinks that is a active when your not pressing it, like if your moving the camera while pressing something else with the mouse, but I have not experienced that the tracks sticks, only the windows..

Its the same issue I guess. You drag the track click to place it but instead of placing it it just leaves the track attached to your mous. Clicking again fixes it.

I have opposite problem, mouse pointer is continually rapidly releasing track when trying to lay it. I noticed last night, that this issue gets worse the longer a game is running and that restarting the game from desktop makes it not as bad.. for awhile. I have to click and pray otherwise.

I use a G13 gamepad and sticky movements happen occasionally. What I suspect is happening is the key release command is being missed causing the last key pressed to appear as if it's being constantly pressed. Plus when this happens input from the gamepad gets igored.

To stop the behavior: click the mouse on the terrain, then press the stuck key.

The mouse stuck to a window is one I have not encountered but I assume it's a similar issue. The trouble is you are probably not able to click to reset the game input focus. If ESC doesn't help, them maybe a combination of ALT-TAB to and clicking could free it.
