Uninstalling!

My game keeps uninstalling without me doing anything! Why?? I can play it just fine when it's installed.

Did you finish such an uninstall completely before installing it again? At which point is it uninstalling? Immediately after install or when you start up?

One time it was installed then I re installed and played it and then 1 or 2 days later it happend again

This is happening to me too. It didn't happen before I made my own user account on windows 10, was using my father's before. But I already had to reinstall 3 games. Why steam, why?

you probably have a different location for steam so it's redownloading eveything anew.

Almost certainly anti-malware software.
Could be your antivirus, or perhaps an over-zealous MS "Malicious software" removal tool.

An easy solution to most of these problems is not using the "program files" or another access restricted directory. Some AV, anti-malware and other software seem to be very picky there. Might also depend on your user privileges (in that directory and/or Steam).
