The easiest thing to do would be to just try it and see if it works. If it operates in a fashion that's similar to my Razor Nostromo then you just use the device software to set it up.

How do you like the overall operation and use of the G13? I just checked it out and it looks awesome. I've always liked Logitech stuff so now I'm thinking of getting one.

Transport Fever is a multiplatform game, meaning that the code can't be platform specific. For this reason OpenGL has been chosen because it support many different platforms.

For this reason, keymapping are not done with Windows scan codes, it is done with OpenGL scan codes. If your control emulates a keyboard, there shouldn't be any problem as long you use the standard key emulation. Special keys have have different 16bit codes in OpenGL.

I doubt that the mini-joystick can be used as an analog control because Transport Fever only supports keyboard and mouse, where the mouse can't be remapped.

If the mini-joystick can emulate repeated key-press, you can probably use it to scroll the map, rotate buildings etc...

<General TSO> Works very well with FSX and Euro Truck. I was hoping I could map the keys for TF but it looks like it is not possible.

<Gwinda> For an oldie could you write it in plain english - sorry! I think I know what you are saying but not sure.

Why don't you just change the control settings within the game to match what ever your G13 is set to?

Because I cannot get it to recognise TF. When it does a game search,it finds all my others but not TF. Maybe because it is open source , as mentioned by Gwinda y that has something to do with it.
There is a Default Profile but I cannot get it work.

Hydraulics, not sure what problem your having, I use my G13 for Transport Fever.

When I created a profile there was an option that allowed me to run Transport Fever then select it on the G13 so now it loads the profile automatically when the game starts.

Ersto - great! Could you please expand on how you did it as I must be missing something.

I need to look at my logitech profile manager, but I'm at work now, I'll write up something tonight when I get home if someone else has not already answered.

@Hydraulics

To select the game from the G13 key pad:

Open the logitech gaming control panel, select the profile you created for Transport Fever, right click on that profile and select "Properties" from the menu.

On the properties menu select the plus sign and select "Add Application from GamePanel"

You will then see the screen on the G13 game panel telling you to what button to press on the G13 once you have Transport Fever running

This should work for you, this is how I lock all profiles I create to the games.

Thanks Ersto. I remember now my original problem - I couldn't create a profile for TF - I tried and tried and finally gave up. My mistake, when trying to find the TF .exe file G13 was finding my shorcut on my desk top. Found the .exe and now up and running. Thanks for leading me in the right direction.
