Soooo the game is still full of bugs?

I was going to reinstall after a long time but after a quick glance over the general forums it looks like the game still has bugs.

I just found out that there is a pirated version of this game which is v1.09 and seems like all the bugs has been fixed in that version. Like people complains about the break-game bug that when the car up side down, you can't do anything to fix it and have to reload the game. But in the pirated version, you can punch/push the car several time and it will roll back to normal. Also the annoying alarm at the beginning of the game, it been fixed in the pirated version as well. And I have playing the game a few hours and doesn't see any bug/glitch so far. Also the location which being blocked with a message board "..Game in Early Access". In this pirated version, you can access those locations as well. It just like this pirated version has fixed every problem I saw in the Steam version. Just in case you want to check it, just search "Jalopy Free Download (v1.09) " and download from igg-games for safety.

Thanks for this. It seems like somebody had to take it upon their selves to fix the issues the dev couldn't seem to fix.

Not really, that's just the last build of the game I had access to. The current Steam build is Excalibur's work, not mine.

Excalibur is witholding the copyright from the dev. And they don't give a crap about the game and its fanbase, and they really just used it to promote another Excalibur game as "from the publisher of Jalopy", and completely trashed the game's good name as a result, so they are letting the game rot from the unfixed bugs.

It would be interesting to see something like a petition or kickstarter from the community, to have Excalibur release the copyright, and maybe get a overhauled and bug fixed "Legacy Edition", not to mention a Jalopy sequel.
