How do you equip all six spells?
I can't figure out how to equip spells into LB and RB, while keeping my other spells in place. Every time I try to select a spell in LB or RB, it just replaces my B spell.

Then, if I swap B into LB or RB, then try to change my B spell, it just changes the LB or RB spell that I swapped over.

I don't understand this equipping interface at all. Please help me understand how this works.

Thank you!

what type of controller are you using?

I know how to use the controller to change spells, and I can select the LB and RB slot, I just don't understand how to get spells into the LB and RB slots.

I think I just figured it out. I got further into the first level, and found some new spells that were automatically mapped to LB and RB.

So, is that how it works? At game start, you can only equip A, B, X, Y spells. You have to find more spells during the run to add LB and RB to your arsenal?

Very confusing UI for something so simple.

Yes, you can only start with 4. You have to find/buy extras in your run.

I'm guessing you're thinking about this the wrong way. Now, I don't use a controller so I don't know what buttons do what, but the four spells you start out with are very strictly defined: You've got a dash, a basic attack, a signature spell and one other. The extra slots you can fill later are also "other" spells. Each slot can only take that specific type of spell, so you can't switch most spells you start out with into the LB/RB slots.

If you want to start out with a spell in those slots, maybe you can change the controller layout - I've seen the option, I just don't know what type does what and if there is one that suits your needs.
