Tried changing several "screen" options (including full/windowed). No luck...
Update
just tried it on another computer, a laptop, as soon as i plugged in a second monitor the same thing happened. Different PC spec, different graphics card etc.. same result.
Unfortunately this doesn't work for me. A quick fix would be appreciated.
This "UPGRADE" [ and I'd like to note I am using that term very loosely] should have been rolled out in a beta test as opposed to an official release. To me this seems that there are new owners of Magic Pixel and they're all ga ga over the Legends Pinball 4K tables and decided to do a fast cash grab by rolling out the "UPGRADE" version on steam and to also try and collect a few bucks from quest users playing the tables in VR.
I may be wrong but to me it seems stupid to not test this using cabinet mode on more than 1 screen. Perhaps it is the same owners of Magic Pixel all along and they did this hap hazard roll out to score a few quick bucks and then its on to better things and they're going to leave support for this product in the trash bin where they have left it for the past "Two years and four months" .
I played this game in VR on a real PC VR set up using the HTC Vive, HTC Vive Pro 2, and the Valve Index and I am honestly hesitant to even attempt to try and play this version because I'm almost positive they cut corners to make it work on the much cheaper and widely inferior tech of a Quest 3 headset. If I could roll back to the previous version I would gladly do so.
~~~ This has been tested and proven to work on multiple PCs running Windows 10 and 11 and multiple Nvidia and AMD cards. ~~~
Step 1 - Exit to main menu.
Step 2 - Quit to desktop.
Step 3 - Uninstall Game.
Step 4 - Reboot your PC.
Step 5 - Run a registry cleaner.
Step 6 - Open Steam.
Step 7 - Open Pinball FX
Step 8 - set up cabinet mode.
Step 9 - Buy their table packs and enjoy virtual pinball from a developer who knows how to roll out updates that don't break key features users have been using for years.
Not very useful funny man. I want to run both. Pinball FX actually sucks. It eats enormous disk, memory, CPU and GPU without looking any better than Pinball FX3 which is much better. Zaccaria is the most efficient AND they made a good Mac version.
