Is this still supported?

It’s been a hot minute since I started this up, after disappointment with Pinball FX I decided to check this out again but I noticed it’s still in Early Access and has been for a long time. I’ve only got the basic pack so it’s mainly old tables which aren’t so enjoyable to me but I remember how fantastic the lighting and stuff was. I don’t really want to buy the full pack of tables though because I was originally holding off for release but it must have been at least 5 years if not more?

Is updates a trickle? A skeleton crew or is there regular updates? I’m unaware how many work on it so I’m not rushing but would like to know if there’s an end sight

Edit - Games crashing on steam deck anyway, should have checked the forums first as it seems to be a problem for a while now. Not a good look to be honest. A day or two I could understand, a week…annoying but definitely not great but weeks is unacceptable not being able to play a game being purchased

I play this a lot on PC, despite no further substantial support. Love when I can find an online game with people.

No updates for a while but there maybe some next year, not clear when though. Mart from the dev team gives that info now and again on the official Zacc Discord (of which I am a Moderator). I do weekly lists of Daily Challenge tables/modes per week that people can play (1 suggested table per day). Gives people something to aim for.

I run my own Discord too and am thinking of running tourneys/multiplayer games via the Discord. Both Mart and some well-known Zacc players are on my pinball/arcade Discord as well as YouTubers. Twitchers and another game dev etc. I also run/host tourneys for other well-known virtual pinball games. You are both welcome to join me and my followers. It's been running since June but I have a community of over 75 people. I also post pinball/arcade news and other fun stuff.

Dave - I saw your recent post about multiplayer games on Zacc but forgot to reply! Sorry!

I have been playing Zacc over 6 years with over 1000 hours played and hold some top scores in the world on the various modes/games!

I'll post a link if anyone wants to join and read/chat about pinball etc. I'm UK based but post to and chat to pinheads around the world (USA/Australia/Europe etc) mostly on various Discords but I'm hoping to do some live play on mine more often.

I really enjoy playing Zaccaria but would really love to know when or if this game will leave Early Access. The Early Access explanation page has never even been updated....
Would love some info. I am sure most others that play this game would also like to know whats going on.

As of right now we still like to leave early access and still plan to update the game in 2024.
We might be slow with updates or rather inactive, but we will remain honest.

That honesty would very much be appreciated, Mart.

What's the likelihood of us seeing another Deluxe table (a Zaccaria one, in the vein of Spooky or Zankor, not a different IP)?

This is good news! I have grown to love Zaccaria and would hate to see its further development abandoned. I would especially like to see tournaments and the ability to individually challenge a friend . . . like pinball was designed to be played.

It seems that after the Steam update in November, hardware running on AMD drivers made the game unplayable. After 2 months, game is still unplayable on Steam Deck. Hopefully the 2024 update will fix it.

Yes same here ... did not play for months.

Everything else works so it is not necessarily the fault of AMD.

hasn't been supported for quite a while longer than they were adding new tables to it – which has been more than a year now I'd guesstimate (actually looking it up would be more work than they deserve)
