My only complaint is with the some of the modern-day remakes and retro designs-some shots on them don't feel right. It's a minor complaint for what are still earnest efforts.
Really not, they aren't even close to the near 20 year old Pro Pinball. The ball still feels like it's made out of plastic, way too lightweight and bouncy. Nudging is also weird, mostly because of the ball weight. I mean the physics gut a whole lot better over time but saying that this are maybe the best physics of any pinball game is asinine.
What the game has over the others are the game modes that are really a lot of fun and the diversity of the tables (Pinball FX3 is just modern unrealism and Farsight never really appreciated EM's) and of course the fact that the people behind this work a lot on fixing bugs and releasing new content
Timeshock! (Ultra Edition) - best 'real' looking virtual table
Zaccaria Pinball - best overall package (physics, looks, adjustment options, game modes, high score lists)
Pinball FX3 - best 'video pinball' package
Pinball Arcade - at the moment still the best package for simulation of 1990s+ solid state tables
Spose the dream would be Timeshock in VR, but given i got zero of the backer rewards, i think there's zero chance of that:(
It also has the best ball physics.
