Custom Bloon Decals

Does anyone know how people are getting custom bloon decals? I've seen a lot with Brazilian Flags and other countries' flags on them. Are they modifying game files? It'd be pretty lame if modding wasn't something Ninja Kiwi monitored for this game.

I haven't lost to too many people that are modding their bloon decals, so I'm not trying to make it about unfairness, but it just doesn't seem legit.

There were decals that was only available for a short period of time. Like those flags.

Oh sweet! Thanks for making that known. I was wondering why, if people were modding them, they would do something as harmless as a flag and not ... other things.

Modded Textures are client sided.

If you changed the red bloon to a zomg
It will look like a zomg, but act like a red bloon.

So you could change, but only the person making the change would see it, and not affect gameplay? That's cool.

if I changed the dart monkey to a super monkey
Even though it looks like a super monkey on my screen, it'll still shoot slow like a dart monkey. My opponent would also see a dart monkey.
