How do I make my profile picture default or a monkey from the game?

My profile picture is the same as my email is there a way for me to keep it default. And how do some people have profile pictures like a bloonjitsu ninja?

If your NK account is linked to a steam account, it'll show your steam profile pic. However, the bloonjitsu ninja pic means that they are in a clan who uses that as their logo. The default one means either 1, you have no account on that, 2. your account isn't linked to your email/steam account, or 3. you are part of no clan.
