Please do not send moabs to cobras. A redirection can send the moab from their screen over to you.
People always fear when they have 1 live left, but in all honesty, when you’ve reached that stage, if a bloon manages to get past your defence, its probably a rainbow bloon or something that you would have died to anyways.
To counter COBRAs, your only goal is to not let him COBRA spam. If he gets 10 cobras early in the game you’ve essentially lost (that is if he is smart and only upgrade them to 2-0). With 2-0 COBRAs, you will be getting a spam of natural regen camo rainbows, ceramics and zebras at round 20, which is hard to keep up as the blooms get exponentially stronger from there on.
Put pressure on COBRA users early in the game. Do note that cobras remove two layers of bloons per shot, so sending spaced bloons isnt a good idea. You will want to constantly be rushing him with mini grouped rushes, and maybe even go for a bloon energy yellow rush to end the game if his defence is weak. Or a regen rainbow rush? Camo leads maybe?
If you’ve reached round 18 and he has less than 10 COBRAs (2-0), you’ve essentially won as he only has two useful towers left, and his income probably sucks.
Feel free to add me if you want, I have the cobra if you wanna practice against it (provided we’re in thr same region)
Dart Monkey (4-0)
Send leads the moment you can on round 10. The juggernaut is an expensive upgrade and he might not get it up in time, or he might have to sell a couple of cobras.
Monkey Apprentice (0-2)
Camo Ceramics or regen rainbow rushes usually kills a monkey apprentice unless its a 0-3 or higher, but against a cobra user he probably wouldnt upgrade it to a 0-3 as that would mean his income would be terrible
Ninja (0-3)
Monkey Buccaneer (0-3)
If his only lead popping power is a ninja/Buccaneer you can pressure him by sending grouped camos
Monkey Village (0-2)
If he uses this with a lead popping tower his income probably already sucks
Spike Factory (2-0)
Take out the spikes using grouped rushes or something followed by your rush.
Sniper (2-2)
A 2-2 sniper is useless against grouped leads. If he gets a 2-3, send regen rainbows or something like a moab since he wont have money to get a redirection cobra.
Mortar (0-3)
The mortar is great with the cobra, but a round 13 rainbow regen rush should do the trick
Boomerang (2-4)
Send one spaced leads, wait till his turbo charged boost is over, send more leads. Profit
Submarine (4-0)
Aint no cobra user has money for this crap
Dartling Gun (0-2)
Heli Pilot (3-2)
Both the dartling gun and heli pilot sucks at popping grouped bloons. Try your luck with an all out boosted yellow rush or grouped lead rush.
Monkey Engineer (3-0)
Grouped lead rush. Period
its just 5000 medallions, most people have that by ~500-700 battle score or "merit"
Battle arena is like ranked, where you can earn merits, you cant in assault mode.
edit: tl;dr: attrition is expensive and most of the time useless because it sets opponent back in money
