Why do people not like Robo Monkey?

Why dont people use the robo monkey more? In my opinion it is the best monkey in the game but most people prefer sun god

The Sun God's sun rays pop more layers of bloons than the Robo Monkey's plasma beams. The Sun God also has better pierce which allows it to deal with dense groups of bloons. Ultimately, the Sun God upgrades to the Temple of the Monkey God which is regarded as the best tower because it deals the most popping power.

the ability on the techno terror is actually really good lategame, but with the inability to individually activate abilities you kind of have to either put them all in one spot or micro a single spot, but what ilya said, the sun god is a lot more effective for overal poppage.

I forget how much damage the techno terror does but it's essentially an AOE nuke
