How to Mod Bloons TD Battles On Windows

What you will need:
A computer
A Steam Account
Steam App
A file managing (I recommend 7zip file manager)
A bit of computer knowledge
Notepad++
Find the latest Password at https://discord.gg/xxfPXv

Opening Data.jet file

Go into steam and download Bloons TD Battles from the steam store. After this go into your library and right click the game. Click on the option called Properties. Once into properties go to the local files and click the Browse Local files… Option. A file called C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bloons TD Battles should pop up. Double click the assets folder and select the data.jet file. After clicking on it once then right click it and copy it. Paste it into a different folder. You should be able to left click it then right click it. Once you do this you can use you file managing app to open this file as an archive.

Modding
Modding can be a bit confusing for new modders. But it’s really simple once you get the hang of it. You can edit values to make towers better, or you can edit how much money you start with. You can also replace json files with others to make towers shoot out weapons they’re not supposed to. Use the password from the discord server to get past the security and then you can do this. Then replace the old data.jet with the new one and share it with friends and play with mods.

Editing Textures

Inside of C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bloons TD Battles open up the assets folder again and go into textures you can change the looks of maps or towers you can edit these files with any art app, even ms paint.
Conclusion
I only went over a few things you can do to mod bloons there are many other cool things you can do with this. But this is for beginners who don’t know too much. No worries in time you might become a pro modder.
