Why this game should be made less competetive
this game is turning quite quickly into an esport which is i know is an ugly term but i am afraid this game is driving people away from the concept of fun and rather towards the idea of being in it to win it which is a toxic mentality. They should nerf all rushes so that they are not insta kills with no real chance to respond and are basically impossible to counter such as turn 21 double moab or regen camo zebra rush. I think the game needs a slower pace to allow for games to more easily reach 40+ rounds instead of some asshat killing you on turn 30 or sooner in an effort to not actually play the game instead opting to jsut win

This game is far from being competitive, sure there is competitive, but it's not good enough for esports lol

looks like you broke my sarcasm detector so congratz.

fyi the game goes on esports for a bit. but the players played it out extremely horribly. due to the current state of the tutorial. also rushing is fun because it's better than sitting and doing nothing with the same tower everytime. unless of course you like to stop and have a tea party in a war. or peace in battle out of nowhere.

if you die to MOABs r21 there is certainly some issues with your side, not the game.

If you lose that's your fault* LUL defend mode and custom clubs already exist so I don't see the point raging at people for playing the game normally.

I have to agree. Play to have fun, but when someone just ups and spams huge amount a bloons so early you have had not enough time to set up a deference. And really it takes zero skill to spam balloons, all the top players have zero skill, just spam ballons very early

Sending balloons is part of the game and they are very easy to defend if you know how to prepare for them try watching other people besides COMPLAININGwithMOLT.

Sending bloons is part of the game and just because you can't defend a round 13 Regrow rainbow rush just means that you're bad and also BATTLES in the name.

Please tell me how you expect the developers to re-program peoples brains to make them less competitive. To some people being competitive is fun, you can't have your way every time kiddo. Two last words, get good.
I've posted about this before. Playing card battles is just an exercise in frustration. Most people who have a win rate above 65% or so got that because they just use the lamest, most difficult to counter rushes possible... ceramic zebra hearts, 10x moabs, 2x red moabs, etc. On top of that, they almost always use the kidnap card as well so even if you do have a small chance of successfully defending against the rush, they just steal your tower at the right moment and you're totally screwed. Whenever I go up against anyone in the 70%+ win rate range I pretty much expect to take a loss because it's the exact same tactic every time. I am at a 62% win rate and I never send any lame rushes.

It's annoying as hell to lose when you have a better eco going than your opponent, more intelligently placed towers, etc. For the people who rely on rushes, it doesn't really matter where you place your towers because you know that the game is gonna be over after "X" amount of rounds. As long as you can survive until then, it doesn't really matter.

Of course there's going to be the same handful of people who reply to these posts with something that more or less equals "get gud" and that it's all a part of the game. Well, if that's the case, the game sucks. The kidnap card is trash and needs to be removed ASAP. Also, many of the rushes need to be significantly nerfed because by the time they are available, it's almost impossible to have enough money to set up the towers necessary to defend... and sometimes the best towers to defend against rushes aren't ones that you'd normally want to use anyhow... and even if you do have a helpful tower up, people will just kidnap it the moment the rush gets close to them, which leaves you scrambling to put something else up, but by then you're screwed.

Then you get the obligatory "thumbs up" or "crying" emote... what is the freakin' point of winning if all these lames use the EXACT same tactic and meta? I seriously wish I could punch these fools in the mouth.

Just played one last game before work. Got rushed by dragons breath (ceramic camo hearts) as soon as it was available. Didn't have a chance to get a defense set up.

The problem with card battles is that it's all so unbalanced that there's a clear meta and everyone is gonna use it to win because they have no original ideas and only care about winning, even if that means doing the same lame thing as everyone else. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

Last time I checked I don't use those cards and yet I have an 81% winrate. Strange...
Yeah, you continue to brag about your win rate, but I *highly* doubt you're being honest about not using early rushes.
